Yesterday, Lenovo took the wraps off its latest handset, the Vibe X. While we already covered the device’s announcement, today we had the opportunity to take a closer look at the handset.
So what’s our first impression of the Vibe X? While we didn’t get much time with new smartphone, we have to admit it has a fairly nice design, and a very thin profile. It’s UI certainly stands out as well, though whether you like it or not is a matter of personal preference.
On the hardware side, the Vibe X is a major departure from the K900, which was know for its Intel Atom processor. The Vibe X’s 1.5Ghz quad-core MediaTek 6589T CPU and the rest of the specs probably won’t blow anyone away like the K900 did, but they aren’t half bad either.

Lenovo made it clear that the handset will not arrive to Europe, and is instead destined for China and the rest of the Asian market. Too bad, as its not a bad looking device, even if far from groundbreaking.
