Video Lan the makers of the awesome VLC media player have this week rolled out a new update taking their software to version 2.02, and bringing a wealth of new features to the player.
VLC 2.0.2 now enables users of the latest version, the ability to drag & drop files between the playlist, services and media library within VLC.
Together with support for retina screens, the Retina Display (HiDPI) on the new Apple MacBook Pro is now natively supported. As well as support for Growl 1.3 and the removal of the font cache waiting period. Now VLC will still find your fonts but not force you to wait while it does.
A full change log and all updates can be found over on the Video Lan website.
